The coal-bearing sequences of the Late Permian in southwest China are enriched critical elements Sc, V, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Nb, Ta, Zr and Hf. Ascertaining conditions basis for enrichment this area is very important to support metal demands China. In study, we analyzed concentrations elemental compositions coal samples collected from Guishan coalfield eastern Yunnan, results show that C4-Upper seam Feilongma mine C5 + 10 Shipeng indeed rich elements. average concentration coefficients (CC) transition Zn 3.23 2.93, respectively, two seams. CCs high-field-strength Zr, Hf non-variable valence chalcophile Ga 2.21 2.53, can be divided into sections based on different ash contents, almost equal. main minerals seams kaolinite, siderite, quartz, gypsum, rozenite marcasite. Multiple indicators provenance controlled by clastic terrigenous material. source Kangdian Oldland northwest, materials related with high-Ti basalts Emeishan Large Igneous Province.
